Bernard Riche est n\u00e9 \u00e0 Saint-Denis en France. Il d\u00e9buta sa formation en percussions au Conservatoire de musique du Bourget puis \u00e9tudia \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de Batterie de Paris avec Emmanuel Boursault et Guy Lefebvre o\u00f9 il obtint diff\u00e9rents prix honorifiques, dont trois Premier prix sup\u00e9rieur<\/i>.<\/p>

Il immigre au Canada en 2000 et joue depuis avec plusieurs musiciens de jazz qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois dont Michel Donato, Yannick Rieu, Fran\u00e7ois Bourassa, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Alarie, Adrian Vedady, Guy Boisvert, Steve Amirault, Didier Dumoutier et Michel C\u00f4t\u00e9, pour ne nommer que ceux-ci.<\/p>

En 2007 il cr\u00e9e un spectacle alliant le jazz et le classique, o\u00f9 un nonette (quartet de jazz et quintet \u00e0 vents classique avec la participation de Carmelle Pr\u00e9fontaine) interpr\u00e8te des standards de jazz et des pi\u00e8ces classiques revisit\u00e9es pour l\u2019occasion.<\/p>

L\u2019ann\u00e9e 2008 voit la naissance de sa maison de production Productions Or\u00e8v<\/i>, qui lui permet entre autres de produire des spectacles de jazz sur la sc\u00e8ne qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise. C\u2019est sous ce label qu\u2019il produira deux albums de styles diff\u00e9rents dont l\u2019un comportant ses compositions jou\u00e9es avec le Bernard Riche 3Trio, form\u00e9 de Fran\u00e7ois Bourassa au piano et de Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Alarie \u00e0 la contrebasse: Double Je<\/i> (2014).<\/p>

Le 10 mai 2012 marque la cr\u00e9ation des pi\u00e8ces \u00ab \u00c0 cordes & \u00e0 cris \u00bb et \u00ab Th\u00e8me \u00bb \u00e0 la Maison Symphonique de Montr\u00e9al. Bernard Riche interpr\u00e9ta son concerto pour batterie puis sa ballade symphonique avec Fran\u00e7ois Bourassa au piano et Guy Boisvert \u00e0 la contrebasse, avec l\u2019Orchestre M\u00e9tropolitain de Montr\u00e9al, sous la direction de M\u00e9lanie L\u00e9onard.<\/p>

Depuis, il travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec l\u2019arrangeur Thierry Pilote sur la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un op\u00e9ra-jazz, \u0153uvre pour orchestre symphonique, ch\u0153ur, orgue et trio jazz. Cette cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de soixante-quinze minutes comprend douze mouvements associant diff\u00e9rents styles dont le classique, le jazz et la musique du monde.<\/p>

2021 marquera le d\u00e9but d\u2019une collaboration de Bernard \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents projets de Val\u00e9rie Milot, ainsi qu\u2019une participation \u00e0 l\u2019album Transfiguration<\/i> du duo de Val\u00e9rie Milot et St\u00e9phane T\u00e9treault. Il ajoute son jeu expressif et inventif \u00e0 deux pi\u00e8ces de cet album hors du commun.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
