Durant la pand\u00e9mie,\u00a0<strong>Val\u00e9rie Milot<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0<strong>St\u00e9phane T\u00e9treault<\/strong>\u00a0se sont lanc\u00e9s dans un vaste chantier:\u00a0<em>Transfiguration,<\/em>\u00a0un projet qui allie la cr\u00e9ation musicale et l\u2019univers num\u00e9rique. La premi\u00e8re mondiale sera donn\u00e9e cette semaine \u00e0 la salle Bourgie.<\/h3><p>Pour le duo, le mot \u00ab\u00a0transfiguration\u00a0\u00bb repr\u00e9sente plusieurs choses. Ils voulaient un terme qui d\u00e9signe leur collaboration et l\u2019\u00e9volution de leur amiti\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le temps, mais transfiguration d\u00e9crit \u00e9galement ce que les gens peuvent ressentir en \u00e9coutant de la musique. Une certaine m\u00e9tamorphose exprim\u00e9e musicalement et visuellement \u00e0 travers ce spectacle \u00e0 grand d\u00e9ploiement num\u00e9rique.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est vraiment un spectacle num\u00e9rique de A \u00e0 Z, dit Val\u00e9rie Milot. Aucun moment n\u2019est laiss\u00e9 au hasard. C\u2019est un peu comme mon spectacle\u00a0<i>Orbis<\/i>, que je vois maintenant comme un laboratoire de ce que l\u2019on fait avec Transfiguration, car j\u2019ai beaucoup appris de cette premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience. Cette fois-ci, St\u00e9phane et moi avons vraiment travaill\u00e9 ensemble \u00e0 la mise en sc\u00e8ne. Le spectacle magnifie ce qui se passe dans nos t\u00eates quand on joue cette musique-l\u00e0.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><p>Cette musique, c\u2019est celle de\u00a0<strong>Caroline Lizotte, Fran\u00e7ois Valli\u00e8res, Kelly-Marie Murphy, Alexandre Grogg\u00a0<\/strong>et\u00a0<strong>Marjan Mozetich<\/strong>. Des \u0153uvres presque toutes command\u00e9es sp\u00e9cialement pour ce projet, qui est aussi un disque lanc\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment sur ATMA Classique.<\/p><p>\u00ab Certaines de ces pi\u00e8ces sont plut\u00f4t abstraites, comme <em>Sentiment transfigur\u00e9<\/em> de Mozetich, et d\u2019autres sont tr\u00e8s tangibles, comme la pi\u00e8ce de <strong>Caroline Lizotte<\/strong>, qui brosse des tableaux de l\u2019\u00c9cosse. Les gens vont voir des images qui expriment cette musique en image sur les cinq \u00e9crans et sur leur t\u00e9l\u00e9phone cellulaire. Les gens sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 apporter leur t\u00e9l\u00e9phone et ils pourront y voir de l\u2019information sur les pi\u00e8ces, en temps r\u00e9el. Comme nous jouons de la musique nouvelle, on trouve cela encore plus pertinent.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><p>Le spectacle dure 80 minutes, sans pauses. Il fera l\u2019objet d\u2019une vaste tourn\u00e9e, d\u2019abord au Qu\u00e9bec, ensuite ailleurs.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019id\u00e9e, c\u2019est qu\u2019au-del\u00e0 de ce que St\u00e9phane et moi faisons, d\u2019offrir un \u00e9crin moderne \u00e0 la musique, dit\u00a0<strong>Val\u00e9rie Milot<\/strong>. C\u2019est aussi un projet \u00e0 l\u2019image de notre amiti\u00e9: \u00e9galitaire et collaborative.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><p>Pour\u00a0<strong>St\u00e9phane T\u00e9treault<\/strong>, la production de spectacle \u00e0 un tel niveau s\u2019av\u00e8re une nouvelle passion, bien qu\u2019il soit d\u00e9j\u00e0 impliqu\u00e9 dans quelques autres sur le plan de la gestion et de l\u2019organisation.<\/p><p>\u00ab\u00a0J\u2019aime m\u2019impliquer \u00e0 ce niveau, mais\u00a0<em><strong>Transfiguration<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0est le plus gros projet auquel j\u2019ai particip\u00e9, dit-il. \u00c9videmment, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de Val\u00e9rie avec\u00a0<em>Orbis<\/em>\u00a0aide \u00e9norm\u00e9ment. Il y a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de choses auxquelles nous devons penser. J\u2019adore cela, et si la pand\u00e9mie m\u2019a amen\u00e9 une chose, c\u2019est bien cela: la compr\u00e9hension et le d\u00e9sir d\u2019aller plus loin que de simplement apprendre et r\u00e9p\u00e9ter des pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 mon instrument.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><p>Durant la pand\u00e9mie, <strong><em>Transfiguration<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>a \u00e9t\u00e9 pour eux comme un phare dans la nuit, leur donnant le temps de d\u00e9velopper leur id\u00e9e, dont les bases avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 jet\u00e9es avant l\u2019arr\u00eat complet des concerts.<\/p><p>Nous pourrons d\u00e9couvrir le fruit de leur collaboration cette semaine,\u00a0deux soirs \u00e0 la salle Bourgie\u00a0(25 et 26 mai, 21 h). Le spectacle sera \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au\u00a0<strong>Domaine Forget<\/strong>\u00a0le\u00a010 juillet
